MOTORIST’S FAULT FIND KIT – 670100

Instruction for use

CIRCUIT TESTER 6-24V

1. Attach the crocodile clip to a good earthing point on the vehicle.
2. Remove the protective cap from the sharp tip of the probe.
3. Before proceeding, test for good earth by applying probe to the live battery terminal and tool will light up.
4. Push the probe through the insulation of the ‘suspect’ wire at various points along its length to identify any breaks in the circuit. A failure of the lamp to illuminate when the probe is correctly positioned indicates a fault in the circuit.
